BestDroneGuide is an independent review site. Commercial drone pilot and aerial cinematographer who shoots real estate, weddings, and solar-farm inspections. Started with a Phantom 2 in 2015 and has owned or flown 20+ drones, from $300 toys to a $15,000 enterprise rig. He flies 4-5 days a week in 110-degree heat, and his logbook covers battery degradation, gimbal failures, and exactly how the '40 minute flight time' claims die in summer.

Kofi, based in Phoenix, Arizona, has been testing drones & FPV for years. Every review on this site comes from hands-on time with the actual product — not spec sheets.

What We Believe

• Flight time is a lab number. In real heat and wind, cut every claim by 30-40%.
• The camera is 50% of the drone. A great airframe with a soft camera is a $1,000 paperweight.
• Batteries are the real cost. Buy the kit with extra batteries or don't buy at all.
• Obstacle avoidance is a safety net, not a pilot. I still fly like it doesn't exist.
